Dyno's are reading the HP & Torque at the tires where they contact the running surface (road) where as the Manufacture rated HP & Torque (referred to as Net HP) is taken at the flywheel as equipped in the vehicle, that is including air filtration system, exhausted, etc... Dyno HP & Torque will always be lower as there is drivetrain efficiency loss which varies per vehicle.Pardon the newb question on Dynos, but why is it expected that the HP would be less than advertised? Is this HP to wheel versus HP to whatever is advertised, or something different? I must be missing something.
