I just did the Hyperco 2/1. Better said, I had it professionally installed. Initially, it feels slightly stiff. However, after some driving and adding 38" MT's, it feels stock. My installer said they were a pain in the ass though.

I have the Eibach and it is kind of the same story. It was stiffer at first and took some getting used to. I am also running 38's and they are a D rated tire so I had to do some PSI testing to get the ride where it felt good. It still fits in a standard height garage as well. I wouldn't say it feels stock to me at this point. It feels a little stiffer all around than it was before. It isn't a harsh ride by any means though. That said though what I lost on road I feel like I gained off-road. I know it makes no sense, but it feels a little rougher on road, but off road it feels smoother. Let's put it this way. I have had no motivation to go back to stock or regret doing it. I think either way you go you will be happy.

Hyperco 2/1” with D rated Hybrid 38s. Only have a few hundred miles on them but currently not as plush as the stock shocks and squishy C rated K02s. I’m still running 35psi, so I’ve got room to move down and that shock button on the steering wheel always has the Baja option on standby!

Haven’t ran off road hard yet but doubt I’ll be going back to stock.

thanks guys, very helpful for your information (y)(y)
I know the installation is painful for the front, thats make me wonder I should do the upper arm and tire rod all at once.

That is what I did. I did the springs, RPG UCA, and RPG half tire rods all at once. Might as well do it all at the same time so you are not having to mess with multiple alignments.

I had the shop do the springs. I don’t have the spring compressor or a death wish. I had the shop install Foutz front shock top hats (no extra labor), 74 Weld steering rack (last minute scope creep) and Foutz billet tie rods too, since car was on the rack and front end torn apart. An RPG billet Panhard bar and an alignment finished the project.

Labor was very reasonable due to synergies and I saved a huge amount of time and hassle since I don’t have a lift and wasn’t comfortable swapping my steering rack internals myself.

I try to do most of the stuff myself, that way anything happen on the trail I can understand and deal with the problem. I basically have most of the tools for bolt on mods and routine maintenance. The only thing I don' have is a lift. but I do have two off road floor jacks. I know the front shock is pain in the @ss to remove. once I have the springs, I will jack it up and see I can do it myself or not.

Spring compressors scare the 💩 out of me almost as much as High lift/Farm jacks! They are 2 of the easiest ways to get hurt trying to do good.
