Cool Idea to replace it with that exact copy of the shroud. Wish they had a better solution to the wires than just stuff them behind the mirror.

Cool Idea to replace it with that exact copy of the shroud. Wish they had a better solution to the wires than just stuff them behind the mirror.

They offer similiar products for many different makes and models. I have my radar detector cord wired into the rear view mirror and I was able to hide the extra 6" of wire into the oversized OEM wire looming for the mirror. Usually it's possible to hide the wires but it takes some patience as it's not an easily accessible location.
I don't have any experience with dash cam but I really like the location of this one. Seems like high and centered on the windshield would be the optimum viewpoint.
