Interesting thoughts on the recent announcement of Ford splitting into two companies. One company dedicated to EV and the other to gas powered vehicles.
Splitting the EV depart off and then doing direct-to-consumer sales is a good way to test the waters. It will be interesting to see how they pacify the dealers when someone orders direct and then that vehicle has to be serviced at the dealer. I would assume Ford would sweeten the deal by paying the dealers more for that service work?
