I installed the Ford Performance Rigid light on the mirrors today. I bought a few mounts but went with the BAM 360 mount and their bronco mounting plate. I will wire it up tomorrow and post some more pics and info. This is a very nice mount and can be moved and locked into multiple positions if desired. You will see in the pics the wire from the lights going into a small V notch on the plastic cowl for the windshield. This is made specifically for the wire.

That mount and lights look nice! I really like that it is adjustable and allows you multiple positions. Thanks for sharing!

Pics of the wiring diagram. Took me a few to find it. I will be using a 10 amp switch for the lights. Going to get them wired up this morning if all goes well.

A few more install pics. I ran the wiring from the passenger side to the driver side under the windshield cowl. You can use a flat nose screwdriver or the tool in the pics to remove the plastic clips on the cowl. In the picture with my hand lifting the cowl you can see where it is clipped into the frame, same on the drivers side. After I removed the 7 plastic clips on the cowl I lifted the cowl on both corners. Just lift up the plastic cowl and push the wiring to the rear and then reattach it. On the drivers side I did add about 2 feet of wire to the Rigid light. It just made it easier to wire without putting any stress on the wires. One negative is Ford could have made the dedicated hard wires longer and a larger gauge. I used a 10 amp switch number 4 which is the brown wire. I have a small butane torch so I sealed all the wires with plastic wrap. By adding the 2 feet of wire I also did two grounds instead of combining the wires for one. I had this gorilla stand that will hold 300 pounds to stand on to work on the wiring. This things is hard to work on if you're shorter.

Looks great! This thread will be a big help when I go to install my lights, thank you!

Added some Rigid covers today. Went with Amber for the fog lamps and clear for the others.
Nice, do the amber fog light covers yield the same color when on as the orange running lights? The color name is different but I'm color blind and the running lights appears as amber to me.

The factory running lights are definitely more orange.

hey - interested in the Rigid amber covers you have - do you have a link for purchase?

Rigid amber fog light covers from Lethal Performance.

Has anyone tried running these amber fog light covers on all four fog lights or is it best to just run them on two?

If I still had 4 fog lights I would consider amber on all 4. I updated the 2 overhead switchable fog lights to the rigid driving lights from Ford Performance therefore hadn't thought about using the amber on the driving lights.

I bought them direct from Rigid. They are the SR-M series cover yellow SKU: 301933. 2 of them were $31.98.

Now that you removed the factory blackout cover and run the yellow covers, do you run all four fog lights at night or is it too bright for oncoming traffic?

I just did some digging through Rigid's website and I think I found what we're looking for, Amber lense covers! I assume these would more closely match our Amber running lights?

I run the fog lights always at nights and only turn on the driving lights in very dark areas and turn them off when cars approach. I am not really sure how bright they appear to an approaching driver. I will try to check them at night and post more info about them.

Its the same SKU number but now they are calling them amber and these are cheaper as well. Post some pics if you buy some. They may have redesigned them. Would be nice to have them more amber to match.
