I know this has been discussed quite a bit elsewhere but I’m curious where people are running their raptor tire pressures. Mine came from the dealer at 42 psi. Door jamb of course says 38 psi cold. I felt my raptor rode a little rough at 42 so I’ve been playing a bit. Wildly fluctuating air temps here in Ohio the last 10 days haven’t made it easy. I dropped mine to 37 in the front and 38 in the rear and ride is better but today when I backed out of the garage I noticed that only the center of the tires was wet from the driveway. I didnt deliberately leave the fronts below the rears in pressure. It just ended up that way after sitting overnight. Thought they were all at 38. See pics. 1st pic is drivers side front tire. Second is the passenger side rear. I feel like I should go down some more because of the contact area. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Mine looked same at recommended 38psi, at 35 appears to be touching all the tread across the width. Mine is in storage but estimating I’ll run 30-32psi in the spring on the highway.

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to try 35 next. I was initially a little disappointed in how the raptor handled in the snow after I got it dec 21 And the big storm hit a few days later. Now I know the tires were wildly overinflated. It Was impressive how much air I had to let out just to get to 38 psi. Can’t wait to try again with the next snowstorm. I’m also curious if people have found the “too low” psi where handling on the highway was adversely affected.

I ran mine at 45 for about a half day and you can really feel a difference in ride quality with just a few PSI. I went down to 40 from there since that is how they came from the dealer and that was still a little rough. I am now running them at 38 PSI all around and that seems to be my sweet spot for highway and around town. For running off-raod when we took it to Moab I went down to 20 PSI all around and it made a huge difference in ride quality on the back roads. I already want to get new tires so if they wear faster with where I am at then I am fine with it. I am just basing my pressure on ride quality and gas mileage and trying to find a happy middle.

If your playing in really deep snow, you may want to watch this video below for recommendations. Interestingly that Kevin had 12psi in the deep snow, got stuck, lowered air to 6psi and drove out of it.

Running my tires at 35 PSI and ride feels great. a little more side to side movement than when I had them at 40. I am also not chirping my wheels around turns as much with the lower PSI.
I was impressed how much traction I had the on road in a few inches of snow with the KO2's. Reminded me of my Pirelli winter tires, except not as good on ice.

This its what I just did, hope it helps.
I air it down to 35 PSI and once the pavement heats up it get to 38 PSI the best of both worlds.
