What's the best MPG you've achieved with your Raptor?

I’m averaging 13.2 per the dash over 1000 miles so far. This is a good mix of suburban/country, three trips between foothills/Tahoe and back, snow wheeling twice, some light rock crawling and hooning on sandy flats for a couple hours. Running top tier California 87.

[edit: from 12.7 mpg, after dropping 6000’ to the valley I’m at lifetime 13..2 over 1000 miles]

Attached is page 177 on "Fuel and Refueling" extracted from Ford's 2022.5 Bronco online owners manual found in your online Ford account. Also here is the link to Ford's 2022 Bronco online owners manual web page with same information formatted in html. This should also be identical to the owners manual information found on your Bronco Raptor's Synch4 system. My experience with modern Turbo engines is the higher octane rating will yield higher HP and better mpg. I will be using 91 octane non-ethynol or 93 octane gas in my Bronco Raptor.

I’ve seen 18 for about a 1/4 tank. As soon as you get a little spirited pfffft. I average 15.5 around town. I can change that to 11 in a couple romps on the pedal. Totally reminds me of my old 75 cutlass salon which had a 455. You could watch the needle move.

How long did it take to achieve 13.4? Normal Mode.. 2H? My first take was 10.8 second is showing 12.7 Maybe it's the quality of the Gasoline?
I’m at about 1700 miles since October. I was running in the 13.0 mpg range for the longest time but just had a 250 mile highway trip that moved it to 13.4 mpg. I hav not reset since I picked it up in October. Running in 2H almost exclusively with exception of a couple storms where I was in 4A

My Raptor has got as much 17mpg on the highway. But THE BEST mpg was like 6mpg… shredding up the country side balls out! That was definitely the best! The faster off road she goes.. the more you will appreciate it. Rock crawling is so effortless in the Raptor.. it can get boring 🤣🤣🤣

Welcome to BroncoRaptor.com 🍻 Agreed, mpg will vary widely based on the driver and the environment especially being a on/off road vehicle.

Yes!! 💪 I want to get 6 mpg with 5 for a goal! I'm hoping to achieve this goal on the Sand dunes this summer.

The Raptor is a GAS Guzzler to the Max.. Still loads of fun, but DAMN!
Earlier last fall I seem to remember a few members on here getting 17-19 on the highway, I would consider this the higher limit under ideal mpg circumstances.

I gotta see those numbers in real life, I can't believe it! LOL

I’m 600 miles in. 15.8 overall mixed Highway and city. 2010 Tahoe under same conditions was 15.5 mpg for 70k miles . 2018 Tahoe with 6.2l v8 was just under 20 mpg for 45k miles.
I’ve been gentle during break in period. Rarely in sport mode. Minimal hard acceleration.

This video below may help, not to spoil the video but his mpg results on the highway are very close to the EPA rating.

First tank I put through it I got over 18mpg. Now I average about 15.4mpg. It varies from 10 to around 18 depending on wind direction, speed, lead footedness, etc.

There are SO many variables when in comes to MPG. if you live where it is cold that will put the hurt on your mileage...cold air is denser and requires more fuel to run properly which is why you always get better MPG in the summer when the air is not as dense. Not sure if this is the same for everyone but if you live within 60 miles of a large city you get a different blend of gas during the winter which also hurts the mpg.

I have over 6,000 miles on mine and just took a 1,000 mile trip. With cruise set at 65 I was getting 15-15.4. Overall I am averaging about 12.5 daily driving.

15.2 with premium. 9 miles highway, 3 miles city daily. I’m doing a 600 miles road trip soon and am going to do a full tank on premium, full tank on regular to see how the gas mileage compares and see if it’s worth
