I read a post on Facebook from someone that stated they work in the Ford plant that builds the Bronco Raptor motor. They said starting this week they will start building 400 Bronco Raptors engines a week.
I sent an e-mail to the staff at the Bronco Super Celebration and asked them if Ford would have the Bronco Raptor there and this was their response. "Yes the Raptor Bronco is suppose to be here Wed-Sat 9-5".
Someone just posted on BN that Ford will be scheduling 8 weeks of builds next Thursday 4/21.
That would take builds out into August. No details on which trims would be included.
Although Ford Authority had first reported that the navigation system on 2022 Ford Broncos built after May 2 would lose the option of a factory navigation system, citing sources familiar with the matter, When asked, Ford spokesperson Jiyan Cadiz denied the report.
A Ford spokesperson says that the 2022 Bronco will continue to be built and offered with the optional navigation system, contradicting reports that have circulated online.
“[The] 2022 Ford Broncos will continue to be built with navigation,” Cadiz told Carscoops. “We are looking at many options to help get vehicles to our customers sooner during this global shortage of semiconductor chips.”
A few people had wondered how that would affect their Raptor orders as well, and this...
It was supposed to be an off-week as far as scheduling was concerned, but I checked my order thru the backdoor link this morning and saw this:
YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
Looks like a "secret scheduling day". Check on your orders folks!!
