It looks like BFG KM3 39x13.5x17 tires fit the Bronco Raptor with no lift if you use a 0 offset wheel (stock is +34mm). The BFG KM3s are also in stock and seem readily available at about $750 per tire. The weight difference between the BFG KM3 and the BFG K02 in 39-inch diameter is 87 lbs vs 70 lbs. The 39-inch BFG K02s seem to be sold out nationwide at the moment.

What other 39-inch to 40-inch tires should be considered?

Discount shows them in stock, but I'm not 100% sure that is accurate unless they just got more in. I took the last one they had as a spare for that black BRaptor a little over a week ago. None of my other suppliers had any, so I had to buy from them to get the 5th one. It's possible they have gotten a few more since then, but none of my other vendors are restocked yet.

Did the 39-inch spare tire have any clearance issues with the rear brake light?

What other tires are you considering since it seems like the BFG KM3s are going to be hard to get as well?

We've done 2 of them on 39s so far, and the brake light clears on both. It just barely touches, but doesn't seem to really rub as far as I can tell.

I'd love to try a set of Toyo MT in 40", but those have been out of stock FOREVER!!!! I've been waiting on a set for 5-6 months at this point, and there is no ETA as of yet. I'm positive those would hit the rear brake light, so a brake light relocation bracket would be needed.

Would any of the BFG Baja off-road racing tires hold up for street use?

Lots of people have run them on the street but they are technically not DOT rated. Plus, they aren’t good in cold temps. Can’t recall the exact temp but they say do not drive on below X temp. I think below freezing but can’t remember.

I need to know more about these tires because this setup looks awesome!

A 3" collar begs the question does this put the shock out of its working range. Also, can the bronco raptor axles handle 40s?

Forget the tires, that Starwood Signature Finish is awesome! ROSSO CORSA RED
Although, I would hate to coverup my HPR.

Foutz was saying that 3'-inches is the max range for the collars before the spring starts to bind. A heavy-duty 37-inch tire is only about 10 lbs less per tire than these 40s but only time will tell.

Based on these photos, would appears wheel spacers may have also been used.

Its now just a grocery getter! No way that will hold up with what its designed for!

40's look pretty cool on these, but having to run a 3" lift collar to clear them just doesn't seem like a great idea. I'm always concerned about CV angles and premature wear when you start getting that far out of factory range. Maybe it would be a non-issue, but I'd rather run a 1.5" collar and 39" BFGs. Actually, I think it looks perfect with 39s and no collar, but if you are going to run it hard offroad you are going to want a little lift. 39s are just right from a proportion standpoint in my opinion.

and, not to mention the extra 10+ lbs going to 40's.

Is this CG Bronco Raptor on spring collar lifts? Looks Perfect! Thank you for sharing.

Agree 39s look proportionally better and prob more pros going with a 39 vs a 40. Now we just need bfg to start producing 39s again

Agreed! Does anyone know when they will start production again or where I can get a set?
