🏆 BROTM April 2024 - Bronco Raptor of the Month starts now!

Mid-March, mid-week camping on the Pacific in Washington State

My Braptor by one of the metal sculptures in Borrego Springs, CA created by artist and welder Ricardo Breceda, based in Perris, California. About 130 of Breceda's metal sculptures are located in the Borrego Springs area.
The original sculptures were inspired by animals that lived millions of years ago in the Anza-Borrego area during the Plio-Pleistocene age. Later works were representative of local history, and pure whim and fantasy motivated the creation of many others. There is even a fully sized Willys Jeep CJ-3A with a driver and a passenger.
It's definitely worth a visit to see these works of art. There's also plenty of good 4-wheeling in the area, especially closer to the Salton Sea in the Truckhaven Hills.

I'm proud of the Baja heritage of the Bronco noted on our hoods. Have not been off road yet with this one. Love everything about the Raptor.

Great thread and video links. Taking a deep dive into this. I love driving fast off road. It's fun to watch the races, too. I raced the Trans Amazon Rally off-road in 1988, and drove a part of the Baja race in 1989 as a support vehicle. I'll drive this raptor fast off road somewhere, too!
