Thanks for sharing but what are they thinking with such lame offerings for our beloved Braptor?

“The Ford Bronco Raptor is a luxury SUV that has captured the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere.“

I guess that explains the 20” wheels…

My impression of Hennessy is a performance based modification company but, I think they are really catering to pavement princess crowd with their Bronco Velociraptor 500 offerings.

Hennessy initially offered their wheels in 18" with the 37" tires (shown below), guessing that may still be an option. I would also expect to be able to retaining the OEM wheels and tires as a extra set for off-road duty and since they leveled it you should be able to increase the off-road duty tire size. The brakes aren't upgraded, therefore the 17" wheels should still fit, and of all modifications the easiest to change out at home. I've had 2 sets of tires/wheels for a majority of my trucks and cars I've owned since high school, either summer/winter for trucks or street/track for the cars which I use as an opportunity to rotate the tires. Guessing their customers may have been requesting larger wheels.

I was also initially disappointed in the power level as it's about the same as the Whipple tune and Megacooler. Then I read, Hennessy has a 3yr/36month warranty, the only major powertrain performance modification is the tune & intercooler. The exhaust & intake are unchanged. The Hennessy bumpers, suspension, and tires and wheels must assist the straight line acceleration which is one of their selling criteria's along with reliability and 50 state legal.

Another viewpoint, Ford Performance did such a great job of engineering our Bronco Raptor's for the intended target usage that even Hennessy found little that needed upgrading.

18's with 37" shown below.

I appreciate the reply @TurboS but like you, I expected much more power than 500 ponies. Thats the magic of a forced induction motor. Where is their larger/upgraded turbo modification?

Does it look like upgraded front brakes to you? If so, may be why they went with 18's as the barrel diameter is greater allowing for a larger caliper/rotor package. Looks like a 6-piston opposed caliper instead of the normal sliding caliper.

Good catch, agreed looks like caliper upgrades on this early build. This indicates they may have been testing a brake upgrade, could be an option.

The current build list below doesn't mention brake caliper upgrades, very possible the upgraded calipers could be an option, after all, Hennessey's are custom builds.

This is one of their latest builds which appears to be OEM brake caliper and rotor.
