my voltage sometime drop to 12v with just normal driving, not even have any aux lights on. that makes me wonder if upgrade to hight output alternator with maintain the voltage better while having aux lights on and winch are using? last time I use the winch i see dropping to 10v once.

Where are you getting the voltage measurement from? Gauge cluster? ProCal tuner? Unless you are directly connecting a multimeter to the battery, I would be semi-dubious of the reading.

FYI - 12v is normal if the alternator isn’t charging the battery and a drop to 10V under extreme winch use (drawing +400 Amps) would each be reasonable. Unless you have a constant draw that requires additional amps needed from a beefier alternator, you might be wasting your $. Think about it like turning up the thermostat in your home to 90* - your abode won’t heat up any faster, it will simply turn off once it reaches that set point. If you are not utilizing the capacity of a bigger alternator, it’s not really proving much added value. Just my $0.02 YMMV
