MY24 Bead Grip / Innerlock / Beadlock Wheels

His videos are exceptional. I have run 15-20 PSI with the stock Raptor non-beadlock wheels with no issues when rock crawling. My friends that I play with have Jeeps with beadlocks and run 12 PSI. Based on the video and you guys, I'll stick with 15-20 PSI.

OK, I found a local shop (Cruisin- Gold) that can powder coat the Method 705s (+25mm offset) for $600 for all five. So I am getting the matte black ones and doing that.

I checked with my Ford dealer on the forged beadlock-capable wheels and they said that there are only 4 available in all of NA. They are $1150ish each plus a $50 core charge each. That doesn't include balancing, mounting, tires, TPMS, real beadlock rings, etc.

Good choice! You will end up with truly customized wheels finished to your liking. :cool:
 
These look great! On https://racelinewheels.com/products/rt951f-ryno?variant=39411609927880, it says that you can only inflate them to 25 PSI max. That seems non-ideal if you use them for anything other than off-roading. It also looks like they only torque to 16-18 ft Lbs of torque, plus they suggest checking the bolt torque every 100 miles and changing the bolts every year. I love that they are forged and machined, but $850 a wheel is considerable.

What PSI do you run in your tires when on the highway?

Those Raceline guidelines are very conservative and do not seem to be up to par with the Ford Performance Forged Beadlock wheels with functional beadlock rings. They make metal-to-metal contact and can be torqued to something like 44 ft Lbs. Thus, they seem to require less maintenance and offer a lower risk of a bolt coming loose. Of course, they only come in Gunmetal Grey and I can't seem to find anywhere to buy them new, only takeoffs on Ebay, etc.
I run 32psi and retorque the beadlocks every 1000 miles. None have been loose so far.

I picked up the truck today with the new wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Really happy with it!

I only got this one shot before going inside to pay. When I came out it was dark.

Loving the Raceline wheel look (best comparison I have seen in silver) and the Bead Grip capability. It drove home nice and quiet, maybe less noise than KO2s, but at least no more.

Gotta get a trailer tomorrow to take the stock wheels and tires to storage. Then list them for sale.

It was $600 for the powder coat (five wheels) and another $150 for the clear coat that Super Chrome Plus requires.

Wow, that looks Great, Good choice, especially on the VB paint. :cool: Add your favorite paint coating or polish and they will be maintenance free.
