Updated and finalized everything with my dealer today for my 2023 Bronco Raptor.
2022 Price Protection at MSRP pricing.
10year/125k miles1, ESP plan through Ford
42,000 Ford Pass points
Extremely happy and can't say enough good things about my dealer.
Build date still showing Nov.14 and I have a VIN number. It's slowly starting to come around......
How did you obtain price protection ? i was pushed from 2022-23

wow when did that come out?
I'm not exactly sure when this came out. I do know on February 11th 2022 in an interview to Bloomberg, Jim Farley stated, "The company is also making good on last year’s pricing for early customers who have yet to get their SUV and is letting customers transfer their orders to different dealers." I think above may be a revised statement of this.
Ultimately my dealer knew of this and I have a great dealer to work with. I think or should say I know that really helps.

Mine finally has a build date after being pushed to a 23MY, which I'm ok with!!!!! $85,055 MSRP

I thought the MSRP went up 5k from about 69 and change to about 75. Yours is 85?
I picked the orange seatbelts, blue leather interior, carbon fiber, upgraded beadlocks, storage bags, 374A package, basically everything but the decals.

So the 85k you referenced was the MSRP plus options as opposed to the MSRP?

No no no… I picked those options as part of my build which made the MSRP $85,055.

No, the MSRP is the starting (minimum) price to which options can be added for the purchase price. Your MSRP plus your selected options add up to your 86k purchase price. The MSRP for your build if 2022 would have been just under 70k; your build, if 2023 has an MSRP about 5k above the 2022. Your options have resulted in the 85k purchase price.

The MSRP is the total cost of the vehicle including destination charge. The price you are referring to is base price before selected options, that’s not the MSRP. My MSRP is $85,055.

Noticed that you got an offer for $61,595 for your 2021 Bronco trade-in. Do you mind sharing what edition your bronco is? I have build of 10/25 for my BR and I plan to trade-in my 2021 Bronco Outer Banks which is fully loaded with 4k miles so trying to determine what a fair trade-in value would be so thanks in advance.

Have found Consumer Reports as a pretty good proxy for the two cars I sold within the last 6 months (Kelley Blue Book was another data point, but wasn’t as good for models with fewer sales in my experience). I otherwise traded in a Badlands SAS with under 1k miles on my BR for the high end of the clean range from CR ($9k over sticker).

Here’s what I paid for the 21 Bronco Badlands!
