No problem, and definitely not an idiot, we all have missed something at sometime, it's all good.

i would like to see a dyno on these. 2 major well known tuners i have spoken to have told me downpipes dont add any power on our motors. There are also many threads on the raptor forum that back these statements up. Our turbos are not maxing out the flow volume of the stock downpipes. So to me this is a lot of money for no validated gain

FWIW, I added a Prodigy turbo to my Jeep JK 3.6 and it came with a generic ceramic cat (not to say they're the same in this kit) but then along with it the rotten egg smell of a poorly performing converter. I replaced it (only one in this system) with a Gesi converter and problem solved. Gesi is also one of the very few EPA compliant aftermarket high flow converters, if you're in an emissions required area.

Oh, I forgot about the original cat rotten egg smell. No cats is better than that odor, I’m going to call SPD prior to installing. Thank you for the reminder.

Definitely good to run it by them and see what their feedback is. My single Gesi cat was $400 and then $100 to pay a good welder (which I am not) to install it so their $1100 for a pair of what are probably gen2 cats is about right.

I called SPD, the standard catalytic converters are high flow units from Magnaflow. I've used Magnaflow high flow converters on another vehicle, no odor & all good. Glad I called, I feel even better about the install now.

Anxiously awaiting some real end user dyno #s on this. I read far too many 3.5 raptor threads of no power or loss of power....
However, our exhaust is not as complicated as the 3.5s and we may see something

SVTPerformance did install with GESI cats and dyno tested. Not sure if a chassis dyno actually captures the quicker turbo spool up that reduces the turbo lag.
