911's have competed in the Dakar Rally, appears Porsche is now pushing the 911 further in competition off-road. Quick 1 min video. I've heard they drove to over 19k elevation. Maybe we will see one at KOTH someday.

Like a "911 Dakar" Not a rock crawler, but a very worthy off road rally missile.

Similar to our Bronco Raptors,

• 3.0L Twin Turbo dual overhead cam Six Cylinder
• Anti-lag turbo technology
• Black plastic fender flares
• Steel skid plates
• Auto only with paddle shifters and rev matching
• All terrain tires
• Increased ground clearance
• Increased suspension travel
• Production limited to 2,500 911 Dakar special editions.
• Offered in a new Porsche light green, that looks a lot like Cactus Gray
• Base price approximately $223,000. Hmm, some Bronco Raptors have been approaching that price. However, also same as Bronco Raptors it's anticipated to be $50k or more above MSRP.
• And, they both FLY...

I love that Porsche is making an off-road capable 911! This could be the perfect Porsche. All the performance and road manners of a 911, but the capability to go off-road and through any sort of weather. What's not to like?!
