2022 Bronco Raptor
14 minute off road comparison video.

"Which Ford Raptor is the king of off-road? The F-150 Raptor R, Ranger Raptor, and Bronco Raptor go head-to-head in the ultimate off-road challenge inspired by the world’s toughest global off-road event, the Dakar Rally! With professional drivers James Deane, Joey Logano, and Hailie Deegan behind the wheel, these beasts are put to the test across a variety of timed stages covering insane terrain. True Dakar-style! With James Pumphrey, former presenter of Donut Media and now Speeed narrating the action, this off-road showdown combines epic challenges to decide the Ultimate Raptor ahead of the Dakar Rally 2025!"

(Spoiler alert - Bronco came in last BY FAR!)

Well, that’s a tad disappointing for the Bronco. Maybe I am a bit biased (OK, a lot biased) but for the Braptor to be that far off the pace seems a bit odd.

Agreed, driver experience and marketing influence is probably the largest 2 contributors. 3 very good pro drivers with different experience levels and racing series to appeal to a larger viewing audience. The Bronco seemed driven slightly more conservative. A better vehicle comparison would have been to use the same pro driver in all 3 Raptors. Also appears the Ranger Raptor that competed has bead lock rings installed and the F150 Raptor BFG 35" tires or the wheels are wider than stock.

It was a cool video, but I couldn’t help thinking that if they would’ve put somebody like Vaughn Gittin, Jr. in any one of those trucks, he would’ve absolutely smoked the other drivers.
