Great Job on choosing the additional Graphics, just the right amount and balanced. (y)

Congrats on having 2 of the worlds best driving cars, equally different but equally fun!
I have the Cayenne TurboS, it's the 2009 Porsche reveal TurboS, when I bought it the intention was a daily driver vehicle here in Michigan, then when fall came I couldn't bring myself to driving it in the salt. I've driven the 991 S, 991.1 TurboS, and 991.1 GT3 on the track. All very nice and all including the Cayenne feels very amazingly Porsche.

Just took delivery on Saturday the 17th. My Ford dealer did a great job getting the raptor ready, and quite a class on the set up. "Emily" The BRaptor is now happily asleep dreaming of all the fun time to be had.
Happy Trails to you all.

Congratulations! šŸ» In the spring it be like getting a second delivery the first time you take it out. Mine is also in hibernation for the winter, come on spring! :giggle:

id like to second that on the curiousity of which color this is...51 or azure??

My Raptor showed up a few weeks ago, I've been travelling for work, so I only put a couple hundred miles on it. I received an email from Ford with no pic, but a hokey video commercial attached. My dealer said they take it off the assembly line before the picture station if you ordered decals. Never heard that before but who knows?

Looks Aw
Iconic Silver, black interior, lux, beadlocks, carbon fiber, graphics which I really like, no dang orange seatbelts or keyless entry pad. Tinted front windows, better license plate holder as Texas requires up front, D Rings on front bumper, phone and camera holder. When I picked up from my Texas dealer I drove it home like I stole it! Sport mode rules and is amazing. Baja mode and then switch to 2 wheel drive is awesome on the street. Lord willing, taking it to Baja with Expedition X Off Road's Baja Sur trip.will tune it once Jared tells me what is best.....

Downside or upside depending on you preference.I have a Raptor R on order. Complicates things.View attachment 4928View attachment 4929View attachment 4930View attachment 4931View attachment 4932
Looks Awesome ! Iā€™m in Texas picking mine up next week. Very excited . Let me know if you find any parks and trails the Raptor will accommodate / fit without scratching branches noises while Iā€™m clinching my teeth. Ive been asking and looking There has to be a good trails etc built for the Raptor . Might have to bring a chain saw

Congrats Now Need to find a place to take these beasts in Texas ? If you know of one let me know.
Im going to go up to Ruidoso NM for the holiday break possibly catch some snow up there . Also Santa Teresa NM has tons of dunes to play at šŸ˜Ž

Putting a few miles on it since picking up in the afternoon of the 22nd. Observations.

love the seats, but id prefer them a bit narrower / bolstered. But itā€™s my fault Iā€™m scrawny. I went with MGV and love them after a long succession of leather in other cars.

Love the ride. I can see driving this long distance to places like UT and So Cal desert. Iā€™m very pleasantly surprised.

ā€˜It drives way smaller than it looks. Iā€™m able to back it easily into my 90 degree turned single car garage slot. Surprised by that too.

presence and stance is amazing, love the code orange (no decal) but I apparently have another in my area so I may stealth it once ppfā€™ed. Neighborhood boys have expressed their approval, thatā€™s a relief!

Drives well over center dividers, curbs and fish tails nicely in dirt with 2WD traction off.

i really enjoy sound of Baja exhaust mode. Of course itā€™s not a NA V8, but it rips when you get on it. I can live with that all day long.

Power/acceleration is fine for on road in a 3 ton lump of metal and rubber. Brakes are okay, but wouldnā€™t recommending tailgating.

its definitely quieter than other Broncos Iā€™ve been in. Iā€™m guessing the roof top sound deadener and felt liners in the big beautiful flares helps a lot. No squeaks, just a little wind noise in front corners. Way quieter than my 2018 Tacoma was.

Love the Flares, they look appropriate and do the job they need too. I might consider removing front dams and mud flaps after ppf to see how I like it.

Front row and rear seat tops come off easily. Rear seat top is a little cumbersome in a one man operation. The side steps really help and Iā€™m 6ā€™2ā€. Tops reinstalled easily, no new squeaks or wind noise. Very happy with this.

Minor annoyance is the parking brake placement. A push button on top of shifter handle would have been much more convenient. They have fully electronic break, then design it like an old manual one.

love the led dash. Could live without the endless parade of dialog box pop ups, but Iā€™ll tune that out soon enough.

My wife loves it. She said she might have ordered one if she could have test driven one when we were shopping for her car in March. She got a Defender for ride quality and on road manners over Bronco.

all in all, I hated the experience of ordering the Raptor, but I love the truck. I wish Ford would either meet the numerous time estimates they proffered or had told me nothing until it was delivered. The continued false hope sucked for me.

next up a week in the ppf shop, the install my light bar,

pods, winch plate and winch in early Jan and I think Iā€™m set.
