Some of you may have seen this stuff, but if not, check out a small company called ModCrate (ModCrate.com). They are a sponsor on B6G and make some cool cerakoted interior accent pieces for Broncos in a wide variety of colors. I’ve been talking to the owner Russ (Russ.Cere on B6G) about adding Code Orange to his product line coatings (for obvious reasons), and I think we’ll see those fairly soon.

Thank you, looking forward to the Code Orange availability. 🤞

While he is at it, Robins Egg Blue would be a nice addition to my HLE (hint, hint)
TIA!

Hey everyone! I appreciate the interest. @Ironmike thanks for the shoutout. I am working on a Code Orange color match finish. So far, I have had the best results with anodizing, however the multicolor process was prone to spotting and inconsistencies across batches. Cerakote was a no go. I just wanted to let everyone know I am still working the issues but it's a bit time consuming.

Keep the efforts - there is clearly a clamoring need and enthusiastic market for your wares!

I am sticking with anodizing for Code Orange. Here is my latest!

Left to right. Badlands Orange, Code Orange and, Red. It has the same color shift as my first few attempts. It appears more towards orange in direct sunlight and more red in the shadows.

Looks good, Russ!

@ModCrate I see you have the Code Orange Front Cargo Panel (door pocket screw) bushings on your web site. But I don't see the hardtop latch bushings or the Hard top accessory mounts latch plates in Code Orange. Are they available in Code Orange just not listed yet?

I believe they are still WIP based on his latest posts on 6G.

Hey everyone. I apologize for the disappearance of late. I started a new class and my students are a bunch of rowdy sailors and marines. I I just got pushing on the new color of code orange for the latch bushing and mounts. ETA is ~ 5 weeks!
