This is before I broke the nozzle under the camera. Right after driving home from the shop. The wiper fluid was dripping non-stop. I had to pull the tube and tie a knot to stop it draining my whole tank.

When I took it apart, I dropped the camera as it wasn't snapped into the chasis and this plastic piece broke (or was already broken by the installer).

I ordered Part Number: M2DZ17603B from Ford Parts, which I hope is the right part. They won't have it until Tuesday since the closest location was Memphis.

I put it back together and the camera works fine. I am okay without the spray feature for now.

Has anyone else seen this leak? I don't think that the nozzle has a way to close. I think that it just stops due to no pressure?

With the RC High Winch mount, it's about 1" lower than stock.

Here you can see the gap below the camera (with the metal scratches from dropping it on pavers) where the missing spray nozzle goes.

Here's the back of the mount where I had to tie the knot.

Here's the full high mount and new Warn Zeon XD 10-S (110010):

Bummer on the leak - is it a missing/damaged O-ring or something else?

FYI - A little touch up with a black Sharpie will fix that paver scratch on the camera bezel…

I've been worried about many of the camera relocation methods I've seen at almost every site I've visited in my search for a good solution to our problem of what we ad to the front of our Raptors is almost always interfering with the camera. Everyone I've found puts the camera out front of everything else we have, a very vulnerable position.

Did you definitely encounter or maybe possibly have found a stray branch, rock or other obstacle that could have caused that damage?

I'm waiting on my third bull bar to take bits and pieces from the 3 to mount my camera behind the baja styled bull bar for protection, but with clear camera coverage. I may or may not be successful. I'm hoping I can make the best solution to an obvious weak point of all the relocation options out there currently. The cameras are remounted forward of everything and the first exposed to any forward damage.

3rd try and I'm beyond hoping for success, I'm gonna mod my way there since no one else in the industry seems to understand the issue of putting a delicate electronic and plumbing piece in the most unprotected location is well, just thoughtless and stupid.

Unfortunately, after trying a couple of Sharpies, they barely darkened it but didn't do enough. I'll probably need to dab on a tiny bit of black paint, if I ever get around to it.

So what I've found is that there are no O-rings or valves; it's only started/stopped by pressure (when the wiper spray button is pushed). I got the replacement part, separated it from the hoses and other pieces it came with, and installed it easily. It looks like it was simply gravity pulling the water out. When I lowered the back of the tube and reduced the slack pushing up above the camera, it stopped dripping. I did a couple of drives and used the wipers a little and the issue hasn't come back. I did have to redo one of the zip ties that the installers had put on there.

No, it was like this immediately after the shop installed my winch and relocated the camera. I don't think that they tested the wipers after hooking it up. That, or they broke the bracket and didn't want to tell me. I'll assume that it was just me dropping it that caused it to break though.

The relocation kit is fairly affordable to replace, and it's made of heavy-duty steel. The wiper nozzle is ultra cheap plastic but surrounded by either metal or pretty thick and durable plastic. It's about $75 to replace.

The camera itself appears to be pretty strong (when properly installed and shielded). But if you really bent the steel bracket back far enough, you could break the back of the camera where a cable plugs in. In that case, buying a new camera seems to be somewhere between $500-2,000. I'm not sure of the exact part number for the front camera, but I'd certainly recommend not breaking it :)
